Do you struggle with the following in your home?
Family Disconnection
Too much tech, not enough chill? In a house full of ADHD brains, big emotions, and constant over-stimulation, your nervous system is completely overwhelmed leading you to feel helpless.

Clutter Overwhelm
Can’t focus? Can’t find anything? The piles keep growing, and so does your stress. When your home is messy, it’s stressy! Clutter overloads the brain, fuels anxiety, and makes everyday tasks and routines feel impossible.

Why Optimize Your Home for Wellness?

Mental Health
Research shows that anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges have more than doubled since 2020, post-pandemic. Creating spaces at home that provide opportunities for families to talk and connect while preserving space and privacy is more important than ever.

Air, Water, Light
Natural elements, such as air, water, and light, are essential for a harmonious living. These elements can be used in interior spaces to promote wellness and create a healthier environment. Improved air flow and access to water can improve physical health, while light and sunlight can improve mental health.

Technology
The rise and integration of technology within our homes is changing how people spend time and interact together. Families need guidance about how to integrate technology so as to enhance, but not disrupt, connection. De-centralizing technology in living spaces is a large factor for wellness.

Functionality
When designing a home, we need to consider the physical features of the space. This can include things like storage spaces and accessibility throughout the home. How a home functions best will look different depending on the age and life stage of you and your family.

Daily Living Activities
How a home is designed and laid-out influences our daily routines and practices. Objects and technologies, such as household appliances and commonly used surfaces, impact the ways we perform tasks, organize our time, and construct our identities.

Aesthetic Appeal
Our homes are physical structures. How they are designed impacts our emotional experience. Aesthetic elements such as space, colour, texture, and patterns are important to consider in creating a visually appealing, functional, and harmonious home that meets individual preferences.

Connection
Humans tend to thrive with greater social connection. When family members learn to empathize with the emotions of others, they can experience better life satisfaction. Resonating with those around them can lead to experiencing fulfillment - by helping others and observing others being helped.

Work/Leisure Separation
Since the pandemic, more and more parents are working from home while multi-tasking home life. Busy family units need to re-think how to draw boundaries and delineate spaces, so they can facilitate more focused, clear workspaces and separate work from home life.

It was really awesome to have you both available to answer questions about things that came up after initial consults. I also really appreciated Chloe’s assistance when I came into Rug & Weave. I am still working on finding light fixtures, art, and trying to wrap up some of my decisions and will happily post about the process soon. I have recommended you to many already!
